House Music's 40th-anniversary celebration is approaching in 2024​​!

Slang Music Group is excited to announce the release of a contemporary House Music version of the Black National Anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing" available for licensing.  Produced by House Music pioneer Vince Lawrence, this rendition features the New Direction Choir, award winning Gospel Artist Charles Jenkins, and R & B icon Stephanie Mills. With such an illustrious team, the result will be a musical masterpiece that transcends genres and brings people together through the universal language of music.​

Vince's version of "Lift and Every Voice and Sing" is set to be a pivotal contribution to a cultural movement. This version of "Lift Every Voice" will be officially released in January but has already been selected for a forthcoming motion picture. His musical contributions have been groundbreaking and influential, shaping the House Music genre and even still this feels special to him. What makes this release even more momentous is the newfound interest in House Music and its vibrant culture, notably spurred by global icons like Beyoncé and Drake. Their incorporation of House Music elements in their work has ignited a renewed passion for the genre, making it one of the most sought-after sounds in the contemporary music landscape.
