Sofitel and its agency BETC have launched the second phase of its ‘Life is Magnifique’ advertising campaign.
In the form of a travel journal, the new Sofitel advertising campaign highlights the brand’s flagship hotels, giving a glimpse of each site’s personality.
Sofitel hotels: the main actors in the advertising campaign
Kenzo Takada’s green Zen world at Sofitel So Mauritius. The monumental architecture at the Sofitel in Chicago. The high fashion spirit at Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg...
Unlike what you’d expect from a large hotel chain, each Sofitel hotel is unique and inspired by local traditions and culture.
“The hotels are the heroes of this campaign; each one writes a chapter of Sofitel’s history,” explained Geoffray Maugin, the brand’s International Marketing Director. The previous campaign, produced with the talented photographer Tim Walker, enabled the brand to position itself in the world of luxury.
“The repositioning was a success, and now we want to give a different view of Sofitel. Today we are providing concrete proof, with a collection of luxury hotels around the world,” he added.
The campaign is in the format of a classic handwritten travel journal, complete with souvenirs like Polaroid photos, luggage tags, and hotel business cards, all framed in a Moleskine notebook.
