Pfizer Consumer Health has appointed Leo Burnett Worldwide to launch its heartburn treatment Nexium as it moves from prescription to over-the-counter.
Leo Burnett, which now takes a place on Pfizer's global roster, won the business after a pitch led by its US office with contributions from its London, Paris and Berlin offices.
The Publicis-owned network also partnered with Publicis Healthcare Communications Group for the pitch.
Pfizer also works with Leo Burnett in Taiwan, after appointing it as its creative agency there in 2011.
