Last week at the 25th annual Eurobest Awards in Lisbon, Portugal, Leo Burnett Worldwide brought home 15 awards – three Gold, seven Silver and five Bronze. Five global offices, including Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Milan and Zurich, contributed to the overall performance.
Leo Burnett Milan continued its winning streak, bringing home two Gold awards for Montblanc’s "The Beauty of a Second" big idea in both Branded Content & Entertainment and Direct categories. The online tribute celebrated the 190th anniversary of the chronograph's invention by Nicolas Rieussec, and the luxury Montblanc chronographs named after him. The campaign raised awareness for the brand by challenging people to explore a second and see the fragile beauty that lies inside this small unit of time.
Leo Burnett Zurich was recognized with a Gold Eurobest award in the Print Craft Copywriting category for Swiss Life’s “Life Turns a Sentence” campaign. The print campaign reversed sentences to reflect life’s twists and turns and promoted the company’s flexible life insurance.
The Eurobest Awards attracted more 2,000 delegates and a total of 5,000 pieces of work from across the continent in 2012. The show recognizes Europe’s top communications solutions and are judged by a panel of international industry experts.
