PETRONAS today launched its Hari Raya campaign to celebrate the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration.
The national oil company marked the launch of the month-long campaign with the screening to media a three-minute Hari Raya web film specially produced to rejoice the celebration.
“PETRONAS Hari Raya web film this year is inspired by the proverb ‘home is where the heart is’. It tells a humble story about the noble values we learn from our parents and the values we pass on to our children through age-old family traditions,” said Norliza Kamaruddin, Senior General Manager, Group Strategic Communications, PETRONAS.
The web film entitled Ke Pangkuan Bonda features a seamless journey of a family in welcoming Aidilfitri celebration and is accompanied by timeless classic song Suasana Hari Raya, which has been rescored to give it a fresh new spin.
Prior to the launch, PETRONAS had earlier reached out to 30 less privileged single mothers from the Klang Valley and their families under the company’s Sentuhan Kasih community outreach programme.
Seventy staff volunteers took the families on a Hari Raya shopping trip to purchase household necessities, clothing and other needs in preparation for the Aidilfitri celebration. The shopping trip and expenditure were borne by the volunteers themselves.
PETRONAS will commence its Hari Raya ‘Coffee Break Campaign’ in its effort to raise road safety awareness among motorists during the Hari Raya balik kampung exodus.
The campaign, which has been running for 15th consecutive year, offers motorists and their families to pull over and refresh themselves with complimentary coffee and snacks at 39 PETRONAS stations nationwide on 25 and 26 July as well as 1 and 2 August.
In addition, they can also fuel up their vehicles with the new PETRONAS Primax95 with advanced energy formula that gives greater savings and superior fuel efficiency which will enhance their balik kampung experience.view more - Creative
