Leo Burnett Bucharest Is Most Awarded Agency at Effie Awards Europe 2021

Agency is the only agency from Romania nominated and awarded at Effie Europe 2021

Leo Burnett Bucharest was the most awarded agency at the 25th Effie Awards Europe that took place online recently. The agency was recognized with 2 Silver and 2 Bronze awards for work created for clients including Procter & Gamble, Telekom Romania and Fashion Days.  

Following three consecutive years of receiving the region-wide recognition at Effie Europe, this is the first year that Leo Burnett Bucharest has earned the distinction of being the agency with the most number of awards at the event.

The Effie Awards Europe is an annual competition that rewards the most effective marketing communication campaigns in Europe. It is a symbol of the proven effectiveness of advertising and a tribute to the partnership between client and agency. At this year's competition, 35 trophies were awarded to 26 agencies from 17 European countries. The winners were selected by an international jury of senior agency and client representatives co-chaired by Claire Miller, Global Head of Strategy at the LEGO Agency and Vincent Garel, Executive Vice President at TBWA\Groupe France.

The two Silver Awards went to Leo Burnett Bucharest agency for the "Sleep tight, little fighter" campaign developed for Pampers. The campaign was recognised in the Best of Europe: FMCG and Best of Europe: Positive Change categories.

At the same time, Leo Burnett Bucharest won two Bronze Awards for the following campaigns: 'The Online Park' for Telekom Romania and "Black Friday The Common Sense Edition” for Fashion Days, in the Best of Europe: Internet & Telecom and Best of Europe: Retail categories.

These campaigns also won awards in the Effie Romania 2021 competition - contributing to Leo Burnett Bucharest being named Agency of the Year for the 4th consecutive year.

The Effie Awards Europe competition proves that performance and effective marketing efforts, built on strong insight, a complex strategy and a creative concept lead to the achievement of objectives and the best results. All these demonstrate the effectiveness of the award-winning campaigns. Entries to the Effie programme go through rigorous judging stages, with only a small percentage of entries winning.
