Campaign showcases comedians David Cross, Gilbert Gottfried, Bridget Everett and more as they urge the audience to do their part in doing nothing
Leo Burnett Chicago’s new pro bono work for the United Nations’ 12th Global Goal centres around responsible consumption and production, and how the best way to accomplish this is by doing nothing.

The 'Do Nothing' campaign is completely out-of-the-box and a sincere - yet humorous - look at how we can all make the world a more sustainable place: don’t shop, don’t waste food, don’t use heat. Just do nothing.

The campaign was born out of a compelling insight. People who care about being more eco-friendly can become overwhelmed by the concept of changing their lifestyles and just give up. This campaign gives those people the perfect response, and adds a dose of humour to truly get the point across.

'Do Nothing' showcases beloved comedians such as David Cross, Gilbert Gottfried, Bridget Everett and more as they urge the audience to do their part in doing nothing. Their fans and ad nerds alike will be thrilled to see this line-up and inspired by this message.

The counterintuitive tagline is a witty way to make saving the planet much more intuitive and second-nature. Because saving the planet can be as simple as doing nothing at all.
