Leo Adef is a director and photographer known for his sensitive portraits, often dealing with queer identity and youth culture.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he moved to Barcelona eight years ago. From then on, he witnessed a change and growth in the queer community of the city. As a filmmaker and artist by heart, he always had a camera to document parties, sexual encounters, or shoots with queer icons like Arca.
The forced break last year made him re-discover this unique material. He decided to publish some of it in the format of a handcrafted book, honoring the people who inspired him. The results are fascinating photographs, uncensored, joyful, and expressive. It's a book full of freedom that pushes boundaries - it is dedicated to self-expression, finding and fully accepting your own identity and self.
Besides, 10% of the book's profit is donated to support diverse projects among the queer community.
