LEE FILMS Expands Its Roster of Directors

LEE FILMS has hired three new creative talents to join the team to strengthen its digital and content department.

Ivan Jurado returns home after working for some time in the international market. Positive and enthusiastic on set, he brings dynamism and a modern visual style to his work. He has worked for agencies such as Leo Burnett, DDB, Havas NY, LOLA Mullenlowe, Ogilvy, Publicis or McCann, among others; also for clients like Nike, Orange, Loewe, Desigual, Ikea, BMW, Aquarius, Mini, Audi, Mahou or Camper, to name a few. His work has been awarded at Cannes, El Sol, Laus or Caniff.

Gus & Lo, the New York-based duo of filmmakers formed by Gustavo López and Lorena Parra also joins the roster. They have worked for brands such as Adidas, Burberry, Garnier, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Land Rover, Nespresso or Netflix, achieving awards at festivals in Berlin, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Milan, Los Angeles, New York and Paris.

Manuela Burló Moreno joins the roster as film director along with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, Eduardo Casanova, Paula Ortiz, Andrea Jaurrieta and Víctor García León. She has directed the short films 'Dolores', 'I want to spend the rest of my life with you', 'Camas', 'Cloe', 'Lo sé' and 'Pipas', the latter nominated for the Goya Awards for best fiction short film and whose characters reappear in the series 'Por H o por B' that will be premiered on HBO soon. She has also directed the feature films 'How to survive a hen party' and 'Rumbos'.

Finally, the production company reinforces its digital and content department signing Nauzet Gaspar, who has worked for brands such as Jose Cuervo, Loewe and Pepe Jeans; and the director’s collective Fdez Vera, formed by Tatiana Fernández and Alejandra Vera, who have collaborated with brands such as Absolut, ING, PlayStation, or UNOde50.
