Global marketing and technology agency LBi has appointed Jonathan Lyon as its Global Director of Strategic Insight, with responsibility for developing and leading a global framework for insight discovery, IP and thought-leadership.
The newly-created role will see Jonathan work alongside LBi’s strategy, analytics and technology teams to develop a unique global insight proposition which builds on the What’s Next … methodology. What’s Next … is LBi’s promise to help companies of all shapes and sizes understand what’s next for their business, and then take them there.
Jonathan joins LBi from Wunderman, where in his role as Head of Strategic Insight he spent three years working with major blue chip clients including Ford, Nokia, Land Rover and P&G.
Prior to this, Jonathan was involved in setting up a number of social media and web 2.0 start-ups, and also worked as a consultant at brand marketing agencies in the UK and North America. He began his career in media, holding positions at agencies including CIA Mediaedge (now MEC) and MediaVest.
Jonathan will be based in LBi’s London office and will report to Alan Davies, LBi’s Chief Strategy Officer.
