The media partnership will see LBB host a series of exclusive talks at the event in Margate in September. All gold of gold winners at the Creative Circle Awards will also be automatically submitted for judging at the Immortal Awards
LBB will be the official media partner at the inaugural UK Creative Festival being held in Dreamland, Margate in September 2021. Taking place over three days (September 8th, 9th and 10th) the UK Creative Festival will celebrate the best of the UK Creative Industries with a programme of talks, workshops, panels, wellness activities, and social events designed to connect, educate, and inspire.

Powered by the creative community of today, for the creative community of tomorrow, the UK Creative Festival is committing to helping create a more diverse and representative workforce by also establishing a free-to-access careers fair at the Festival open to aspiring young people.

Alongside the UKCF’s high profile keynote speakers, LBB Editors, Alex Reeves, Natasha Patel and Editor-in-Chief Laura Swinton will be hosting a series of panels with UK Business leaders - across the three days - which aim to put a highlight on the innovation, trends and craft that are shaping our industry and the industry of the future.

Commenting on the partnership, LBB CEO Matt Cooper says: “Whilst we are a global business, London is home to our HQ and we’re thrilled to be supporting the UK Creative Festival in its inaugural year. We have some of the greatest creative minds in the world based here and we cannot wait to be able to come together in person to talk about what's really changing the business of creativity in 2021 and beyond. We have a lot of exciting speakers to announce, so watch this space.”

The UK Creative Festival will also be the new home of the Creative Circle Awards and as part of its media partnership, LBB will also be automatically sending the Gold of Gold winner through to the European judging round of the Immortal Awards to compete on the continental stage.

Immortal Awards Director at LBB Paul Monan comments: “The Creative Circle and Little Black Book have very similar ambitions and mentalities. We both celebrate the very best in creativity. Partnering with the Creative Circle means that we can help amplify what they do locally in the UK onto a global stage and we’re excited to receive the best of British creative for European judging.”

“We wanted to create a unique event dedicated to improving representation within the creative industries, not just at the highest level or even at entry level, but where it counts with aspiring young creatives” said festival CEO, Jeremy Green. “Most importantly we want to make this accessible to everyone, and we see LBB as the perfect partner to do that. They have always celebrated creativity across the entire industry, and we know they will be bringing together an exciting and most importantly educational programme of content for us and our guests.”

Delegates will be able to purchase tickets for the UK Creative Festival and the Creative Circle Awards separately or as an inclusive package with the option of accommodation and access to Dreamland. Surrounding venues in Margate will also host sponsored parties, social events, and live music throughout the festival.
