In life, as in sport, the game is sometimes played with one winning shot. Gathering courage, in just seconds you make the decision to strike harder, to look in one direction rather than another and give it all you’ve got. Lacoste has captured this decisive moment that can change everything in its new fragrance for men, Match Point, with a stylish campaign from BETC. A unique fragrance characterised by unexpected green notes over an elegant and sophisticated woody base.

The campaign, from BETC, follows an inspiring duo. Amid the hustle and bustle of a sunny city, a man waits nervously. He is about to leave when a young woman comes running up to him and kisses him. Should he stay with her? Leave at all costs? The duo holds each other, catches hold of one another, carries and embraces one another in rhythmic body-to-body movements. Each one puts forward their arguments in a match where every point counts. Match point. On the edge of a suspension bridge opening at their feet, will they take the big leap together?

With its refined lines, the glass bottle adopts all the codes of tennis so dear to the brand. The shape of the bottom evokes a tennis ball at match point, leaving its mark on the clay. Inspired by the iconic green of Lacoste, the cap displays the features of the grip of a racquet shaft. Decisive, MATCH POINT, the name of the fragrance itself, is outlined in the style of a Baseline.
