The independent digital creative agency, AnalogFolk has hired Kunal Muzumdar as Managing Director for the USA.
Muzumdar joins AnalogFolk during a period of rapid growth; in recent months the agency has won, sustained and gained further business with clients such as NIKE, CLIF Bar & Co and last month won a Webby for their work on the Nike Trainers Hub. Joining from POSSIBLE, where he ran the agency’s New York office for the past five years, Muzumdar will be charge of both the New York and Portland AnalogFolk offices.
A passionate storyteller, before moving into management Muzumdar had carved out a successful career as a planner, working for Zaaz, Razorfish and Campbell Ewald. Working alongside creative directors and partners, Jim Wood and Carren O’Keefe, Muzumdar will steer the agency as it continues to grow, onboarding new clients and fostering new talent.
"I am incredibly excited to be joining the AnalogFolk team,” said Muzumdar, “The combination of amazingly talented people, innovative work, and interesting clients that are willing to take risks, is an exciting prospect and an opportunity too good to pass up. Combine that with the unmistakable spirit of an independent agency and network, and you have the building blocks for something really special. I cannot wait to get started."
Matt Law, Worldwide Chief Operating Officer for AnalogFolk said: “Kunal is an incredible talent and we are delighted he is joining us for the next stage of our journey in North America. His incredible blend of curiosity, humour and energy made him stand out as the perfect fit to join us on our mission to use digital to make the analog world better.”
