Philip Kay awarded Best Original Composition in Broadcast Advertising
KOM Wins at Music and Sound Awards

Just six months after opening its doors, original music agency KOM took home the trophy for 'Best Original Composition in Broadcast Advertising' at this week's 2020 Music & Sound Awards. The astonishing, virtuosic orchestral score for Ringan Ledwidge's Miller Lite 'Followers' spot was composed by KOM's co-founder and lead composer, Philip Kay.

The award follows a highly successful launch that has seen the company collaborate with directors such as Ledwidge, Steve Rogers, Daniel Wolfe and Ian Pons Jewell and a host of world leading creative agencies including DDB Chicago, Leo Burnett Chicago, Ogilvy New York and Wieden+Kennedy New York.

KOM was founded in February this year by composer Kay and producer Andy Oskwarek, who created music for a decade's worth of award-winning global campaigns for Woodwork Music, delivering some of the most recognisable and inspiring sounds in recent years. This year's award marks a confident start for one of the industry's most distinctive and innovative voices.
