Kitcatt Nohr Appoints New Management Team

Hattie Whiting joins customer engagement agency as Managing Director and Ed Beard as Chief Strategy Officer

Kitcatt Nohr Appoints New Management Team

Kitcatt Nohr, part of the DigitasLBi family, has appointed a new management team to lead the customer engagement agency into the next phase of its development.

Kitcatt Nohr recently launched its ‘relationships worth having’ proposition to help create value for companies by helping them create value for their customers.

In order to help strengthen this new proposition, Hattie Whiting moves from her current role as Client Partner at DigitasLBi to take up the position of Managing Director. Whiting will be responsible for driving the ongoing growth of Kitcatt Nohr and expanding its existing client base, which includes Bupa, Nissan and Sky.

The move follows the decision of Kitcatt Nohr founding member and current Managing Director Vonnie Alexander to leave the agency.

Ed Beard, currently Head of Creative Strategy at DigitasLBi, also joins Kitcatt Nohr as Chief Strategy Officer, leading a team of customer engagement planners responsible for harnessing the power of data to help brands better understand their customers.

Whiting and Beard are joined on the revamped management team by Kitcatt Nohr Executive Creative Director Ben Golik and Group Data Strategy Partner Sue MacLure.

Under Whiting, Kitcatt Nohr’s new management team will oversee the evolution of the agency as it continues to redefine customer engagement communications by putting people at the heart of its thinking.

Alexander is taking a break from agency life to focus on spending more time with her family before exploring other opportunities. Chief Strategy Officer Richard Madden is also stepping down to pursue a new opportunity outside the agency. Madden will work with Beard over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition.

In her new role Whiting will report directly to Michael Islip, Chief Executive, UK, DigitasLBi, who said: “I’d like to thank Vonnie and Richard for their dedication and hard work building Kitcatt Nohr into the market leading agency it is today. With someone of Hattie’s caliber at the helm of a first rate management team, Kitcatt Nohr will go from strength-to-strength as it continues to forge new ground in customer engagement.”

Alexander added: "Kitcatt Nohr is an agency with such a strong reputation, a very defined culture and a clear vision for the future as part of the DigitasLBi family. The time is right for a new leadership team to take the agency forward and for me to spend some time with my family. I wish them well and I will enjoy watching their success from afar."
