KBS+ Toronto announced today that Brenda Surminski has joined the agency as Head of Broadcast, effective immediately.
Surminski joins KBS most recently from freelancing and prior to that at Ogilvy and Mather where she served as Head of Broadcast for 10 years and was a key player in the phenomenally successful repositioning of Unilever’s Dove brand.
She is perhaps best known for her work on the groundbreaking viral web campaign “Evolution,” which received the first ever Cannes double Grand Prix award. In this newly created role, Surminski will oversee all aspects of film and video production and report into KBS CCO Matt Hassell. Her responsibilities include maintaining the KBS creative standard across all clients.
