Lidl has appointed Karmarama as its lead creative agency following a pitch handled by the AAR.
Lidl tasked agencies to create a long-term brand strategy and new creative platform for Lidl that will be brought to life across the customer experience in the UK.
The agency will be taking over responsibilities from the incumbent TBWA\London from March, following a transition period in the New Year.
Claire Farrant, marketing director, Lidl said of the appointment: "The process of finding a new agency for our business was really exciting and we were bowled over by all four agencies. Karmarama demonstrated clearly at the final pitch and through the process, their strategic thinking and how that could be delivered creatively. Their ideas, we believe, could easily play out in the coming months to maintain our competitive edge versus the rest of the market. We are really looking forward to starting work together from the start of March next year."
Ben Bilboul, CEO, Karmarama added: “Lidl is a brilliant challenger business - providing Britain with the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices. We’re elated at winning what is one of the biggest pitches of the year and excited to work with their inspirational team to help unleash the huge potential of the brand and drive its next phase of business growth.”view more - Hires, Wins & BusinessKarmarama, Wed, 12 Dec 2018 11:38:06 GMT
