Karmarama Acquires Mobile App Specialist Nice Agency

App specialists have created apps for Channel 4’s 4oD, The Times and first direct

Karmarama, the leading UK independent marketing service agency, has today announced the acquisition of Nice Agency, one of the UK's leading mobile app specialists.  The move further enhances Karmarama’s digital offering.

Nice was founded in 2009 by Peter Dolukhanov and Ryan Hall. The agency has since then produced industry-defining work such as Channel 4’s 4oD across iPad and iPhone, and created compelling user experiences across a multitude of devices and platforms for high profile clients including Freesat, first direct, The Times and UBS. 

As a result, Nice has been awarded Top 10 Agency status in The Drum’s Digital Census, noted as ‘Ones to watch’ by eConsultancy and named in B2B Marketing 'Top Agencies' list. Additionally, The Drum listed Ryan in its Top 50 Influential Mobile Marketing Professionals in 2013 and BIMA featured Peter in its Digital Hot 100 of 2014.

Nice has already been working with Karmarama on a variety of clients including frozen yogurt brand Snog and Magnum.

The purchase of Nice is the latest acquisition in a growth strategy by Karmarama, who in 2013 acquired social media and content agency Grape Digital, now re-branded as Krowd. The acquisition now makes Karmarama one of the largest independent agencies in the UK.
