JWT Singapore Announces Two Key Hires

Business Director and Group Account Director joins

JWT Singapore Announces Two Key Hires

JWT Singapore CEO Frank Bauer today appointed Joseph Chua as Business Director and Jude Foo as Group Account Director, adding further bench strength to the agency’s fast-growing account leadership team.

"I am happy to get these two Singaporean top guns into our agency,” said Frank Bauer, JWT Singapore CEO. “We set out to transform the agency 13 months ago and we have made good progress. Jude and Joe are both very dynamic, integrated brand leaders who will help us to further refine our performance for the brands and businesses we work for."

Chua is a digitally-savvy business leader with regional experience, with a background as an entrepreneur. He joins JWT from Leo Burnett where, in his most recent role, he led the global digital and CRM strategy for SK II as Regional Account Director P&G Asia. In 2011, Chua co-founded Asia Risk Management, a financial risk consulting company. Prior to that, he worked as a Group Account Director on P&G at Leo Burnett building the agency’s shopper marketing capability. He started his career at Leo Burnett, in 2007.

Foo joins JWT Singapore from Tribal DDB, where he worked on DBS and on the agency’s regional Lipton account. Foo began his career at Ogilvy &Mather Singapore, where he worked on a range of accounts, from Coca Cola to the Health Promotion Board, over three years.

Chua and Foo will both work on a range of accounts, including Changi Airport Group, Pizza Hut and Schick.

“It is truly my honour to work closely with Frank and Valerie to drive the next generation of growth for our clients and JWT,” said Chua. “There is a strong JWT vision complemented with accountability, innovation and driving strong business ideas. I am confident that JWT has become the logical choice for clients looking for clear direction in an unpredictable market."

These key new hires expand JWT Singapore’s ever-expanding talent roster, which has expanded dramatically over the last year to match pace with the agency’s growth. JWT Singapore was as appointed Agency of Record by Changi Airport and the Singapore Tourism Board, and took on the regional business for Kellogg’s, in 2013. Earlier this month, JWT Singapore was named AOR for Carlsberg, and took on global work for Shell, which named the agency’s Chief Creative Officer, Valerie Cheng, as Global ECD for Shell Lubricants, which encompasses Shell Helix, Shell Rimula, Shell Advance and many other specialist lubricant brands.
