JWT Kuwait Repurposes Instagram Into a Digital Storybook

J. Walter Thompson Kuwait has created a first-of-its-kind experience for children, the InstaBook. By repurposing Instagram for its client, Zain Kuwait, the team has changed the simple image format into a wonderful 156-picture storybook in Arabic for children. 

This memorable Arabic InstaBook, ‘Zain and the Stars’, means parents can easily be the heroes of any bored moment because the magic of story time can now take place on their mobile phones wherever they are. In choosing social media as the dynamic platform for this concept, the initiative marries the time-honored tradition of storytelling with the digital world that young children are born into today. Twelve more beautiful Arabic InstaBooks are scheduled to follow.
