Justin Tindall and Kate Bosomworth have launched a new company under the name of Platform
, with Suffolk based Fishers Gin as their launch client.
Previously chief creative officer and chief marketing officer at M&C Saatchi London, before leaving at the beginning of 2020, they set out to create a completely new agency model and way of working that provides a liberating, efficient and agile working environment for the clients and talent with whom they’ll be working.
As the name suggests, Platform’s principle purpose is the creation of transformational brand platforms. “The central and most fundamental part of any brand or business, whatever size and stage – is an irresistible brand platform. A purpose driven, True North that informs and guides everything the brand and business does. Without this guiding principle, you simply can’t build anything of real value. So that’s where we’ve focused our offer,” comments Justin.
Built around a refreshingly simple three stage, set fee, pay-as-you-go model, Platform builds tight, focused teams that work very closely with the client, in short, collaborative, highly productive sprints. Clients can buy the brand platform outright or license it from the company.
With a freshly minted brand platform in place, clients are then free to step away to pursue creative development and production in house or with existing partner agencies.
Alternatively, they can move forward with Platform, making use of the company’s proprietary Talent Platform: A digital hub hosting a diverse community of award winning thinkers and makers from across the creative industries. “There is a growing pool of exceptional talent who want to work differently. Kate added, “We looked at every part of the traditional agency model and broke it down to create a new way of working at every turn. The new company is built around Creative Strategy. A new, upstream origination process exclusively designed to deliver brand platform ideas with speed, brilliance, collaboration and flexibility.

Kate & Justin worked together for two years at M&C Saatchi, winning and working on a host of clients together. Having enjoyed very different career paths, there is a clear fit between Kate’s broader consumer communications experience and Justin’s brand focused strategic & creative strengths.
The pair plan to launch their first overseas Platform partnership in Spring 2021.
