Splits £5000 between Medicine Sans Frontiers and Save the Children

Jungle Donates Its Entire Christmas Gift Budget to Charity

As Christmas is fast approaching and your desks will be filling up with gifts, Jungle decided to do something a little different this year.

We are all so very lucky in this industry, we get to do wonderful things in wonderful places with talented and inspiring people. So Jungle wanted to give a little back. You only have to watch the news for a second to know how many people in the world are struggling right now, so rather than sending out gifts to their clients, Jungle decided to donate the Christmas Gift budget to two organisations that work tirelessly to help those in need.

Jungle donated a total of £5000.00 split between two charities. Medicine Sans Frontiers and Save the Children. The money has specifically gone to the growing Syrian Refugee Crisis. If you would like to make further donations to Medicine Sans Frontiers click here.

Here are some examples of where the money is going:

· £3.50 could provide food for a day for a child fleeing conflict and extreme poverty, and sleeping in camps or outdoors. This includes milk, bread, food for young children as well as non-perishable foods and a source of protein, such as meat

· £30.00 could provide a mother and children who are sleeping in camps or in the open air with a hygiene kit, so they can keep clean and healthy, with diapers, rash cream, baby wipes, soap, sanitary pads, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste and sunblock.

· £80.00 could provide a family of five fleeing conflict and extreme poverty a 'on-the-move’ shelter kit (including sleeping materials, a decent tent, torch and batteries)

Please give generously. Have a very Happy Christmas! With Love, Team Jungle.
