The Immortal Awards is excited to announce JSM Music as the USA partner of this year’s competition.
Following their hugely successful introduction last year, The Immortal Awards will once again feature local, country-based juries that feed into regional rounds of judging. Ensuring creativity from across the globe is judged properly and equally, the local rounds give every market and region a platform on the global stage. The US jury - which will decide which work from the United States qualifies for the regional North American final - will be supported by JSM Music.
Having successfully taken judging sessions online for the past two years, the Immortal Awards will be returning to in-person judging days, where possible, at the end of the year to determine 2022’s winners.
Joel Simon, CEO/CCO at JSM Music, comments: “I have been a fan of LBB since its inception in 2010. They were founded on giving the voice of our global industry to those actually creating the work. It proved to be a single source, and resource, to follow, study and embrace the ever evolving creative landscape of our industry on a local, regional and global scale.
“I decided to have JSM become the USA Partner for The Immortal Awards due to their equal focus and attention on global, regional and local work. I love the simplicity of not having many categories or prohibitive entry fees. Having each entrant be able to only submit five pieces of work forces all entrants to really focus on putting forth their very best work.
“I am truly excited to be part of this body and look forward to the year ahead and celebrating amazing work with an organisation and jury that represents the very best of who we are, and what we do.”
Paul Monan, Awards Director, comments: “The US is a world leader when it comes to creativity and that can be seen by how successful the country has fared in the first four years of competition at the Immortals. Last year alone, three of the four Immortal winning projects were from US based agencies, production companies and post houses. The US jury day is one of the most inspiring days of boundary-pushing creativity in our calendar and we can’t wait to judge it in-person later this year.
“As previous winners, Joel and the team at JSM know a thing or two about what it takes to be a part of creating something Immortal, so we’re delighted to be teaming up with them as this year’s US jury partners.”
