Jon Cano-Lopez Appointed CEO of The Data Agency

Cano-Lopez joins from Communisis

The Data Agency has appointed prominent data expert Jon Cano-Lopez to the role of CEO. Cano-Lopez will use his 25+ years of experience in the industry to lead The Data Agency’s data solutions, cementing the company’s market-leading position and delivering some of the best work in the industry to their already high profile list of clients.

Throughout his career, Cano-Lopez has been a steadfast pioneer in the data marketing industry, with stints at various leaders in the sector. He founded Altwood Systems in 1992 before selling it to data segmentation experts Claritas, subsequently acquired by data giant Acxiom. Cano-Lopez then left Acxiom to join Ai Data Intelligence in 2007 as managing director, a company which was subsequently sold in 2008 to Communisis where he served as MD of Communisis Data Intelligence until this appointment.

As CEO, Cano-Lopez will work side-by-side with Mark Roy, founder of The Data Agency, to offer clients market-leading data products and services. Their partnership will draw on over 40 years of combined experience at the forefront of the data industry, bringing together a business partnership that excels in all aspects of today’s data market.
