Because when she gets a DSLR camera, so do you. We’ve all done it – given a gift knowing that you would get to reap the benefits and keep part of it for yourself. Therein lies the joy of giving the ones you love tech for the Holidays – when you give gifts from Future Shop, they’re gifts you’ll want too.

This year’s Holiday campaign from Future Shop, developed in partnership with john st., shows consumers just how much fun gift-giving can be when you get something out of it as well. The idea of Gifts You’ll Want Too will come to life in an integrated campaign, including TV, radio, pre-roll, rich online display and Future Shop in-store signage.

"What differentiates Future Shop from other gift-giving destinations is that when you give the gift of tech, other people get to enjoy it as well. For example, when you give your husband a flatscreen, you get to watch your favourite shows on that flatscreen. It's a win-win - for the gifter and the getter," said James Pelletier, Director of Brand Marketing, Future Shop.

The TV spot supporting the national campaign features a typical dad experiencing the excitement of exploring Future Shop, all while shopping for someone else in the family.

“We're all guilty of doing a little 'me-shopping' when doing our holiday shopping for our friends and family. "Gifts you'll want too" is a cheeky way of showing how you can make them and yourself happy with the same gift.” says Angus Tucker, ECD at john st., Future Shop’s AOR.
