Click 3X announced the addition of John Geehreng as Senior Flame Artist furthering Click 3X’s technical capabilities and creative prowess.
Geehreng is known for tackling technical and creative challenges, leading to his versatile body of work. He joins Click 3X after freelancing as a bi-coastal Flame Artist and Visual Effects Supervisor. Prior to freelancing, Geehreng worked at SUSPECT, Charlex, Mackenzie Cutler and Creative Group. His portfolio includes projects like Wes Anderson’s “Grand Budapest Hotel,” music videos like Katy Perry’s “Roar,” keynote speeches for Apple and television commercials for companies like Southern Comfort, Weight Watchers, Burger King, Verizon, Ethan Allen, and Apple.
“John is the embodiment of versatility—from his seemingly limitless skillsets to his passion for learning smarter ways to integrate tools and methods to produce the best work possible. Having started his career in broadcast design, Greehreng has spent the last 15 years teaching himself different, cutting-edge visual effects programs and techniques, making him one of the most well-rounded VFX artists in New York, mastering tools like Maya, Vue, After Effects, PFTrack, SynthEyes, Mocha, Vue and Mari.
