The spot from EP+Co uses archive footage to celebrate workers who rely on John Deere to keep business moving

John Deere has launched a new campaign in response to Covid-19. As the reality of the pandemic began to set in and the world seemed to be placed on hold, work still needed to be done - work that John Deere owners have been determined to keep moving forward.

Today the brand launched a new campaign, ‘Run Together’, which is an adaptation of its current in-market campaign, ‘Run With Us’. Now more than ever they recognised that customers needed comfort and reassurance during this time; they needed to see the brand take action and demonstrate that they are in this together. The new anthem offers a message of positivity, hope, and above all else, thanks – thanks to their customers for all they do, the land that they continue to care for and the work ethic they continue to show.

The ‘Run Together’ campaign features John Deere owners across the US and Canada, utilising existing footage that showcase the people who rely on John Deere to get their work done. From idea to execution, the campaign was edited, VO recorded and launched entirely remotely by John Deere and EP+Co, agency of record for the brand’s consumer equipment business.

“We are taking the stay at home orders very seriously, but believe the greatest innovations can come from hard times like this. The Run Together campaign is a great example of how we can accomplish inspiring things with our clients in ways we never have before, while continuing to work safely and remotely.” – John Cornette, EP+Co executive creative director and director of innovation.

In addition to the 30 second national TV spot, the creative campaign also includes digital and social content, campaign website, radio ads and local-market assets. The campaign will run until June 1st.
