Shanghai – DDB China Group has promoted Jit Ng to Vice President of DDB Group North China and Managing Director of DDB Group Shanghai and Tim Cheng to Chief Creative Officer of DDB Group Shanghai. Effective immediately, Jit and Tim will assume responsibility of leading the Shanghai office.
Charged with raising the bar as the agency at the forefront of delivering creative business solutions for clients, both Jit and Tim will focus to bring the best multi-disciplinary talents to execute best-in-class creative ideas across channels and across disciplines in the most effective manner for clients.
Jit and Tim helped set-up Tribal DDB Beijing and within the short span of a year, earned the industry’s recognition as a Top 3 finalist at Campaign Asia Pacific’s Greater China Digital Agency of the Year 2012.

Jit was previously Managing Director of Tribal DDB Shanghai between 2008 and 2011, when Tribal DDB Shanghai was awarded Campaign Asia Pacific’s Greater China Digital Agency of the Year 2010. He then continued to fly the digital flag high across DDB Greater China Group offices as Digital Development Officer.
Tim was appointed to the board of DDB Group Asia Pacific’s Regional Bullseye Creative Council in 2010. He is also a director of DDB Group’s Executive Creative Council. Tim was previously joint Executive Creative Director of DDB Guoan Beijing and prior to that Executive Creative Director of Tribal DDB Hong Kong.
