Jaywing today launches a new integrated content offering with the appointment of Mike Hepburn, co-creator of the Guardian Professional Networks, as Content Marketing Director.
In this newly created role, Hepburn will use the combined skills of the teams at Jaywing and recently acquired search agency Epiphany to build an integrated content marketing service. This fresh offering will bring together content strategy and creation, PR, data capture, brand development, media planning and buying, blogger outreach, SEO and social media strategy to provide a seamless service for Jaywing’s clients.
Formerly Head of Public Services Networks at The Guardian, Hepburn brings with him a wealth of experience working on major brand partnership campaigns for clients ranging from blue-chip corporates to charities. Having previously held senior roles at GMTV, Dods Group and APCO UK, he brings with him extensive knowledge of the media and PR landscape.
Hepburn takes up the position with immediate effect and he will be based at Jaywing’s London office in Farringdon.
Commenting on Hepburn’s appointment, Martin Boddy, CEO of Jaywing said: “We’re really pleased Mike has taken the leap from media to marketing and joined us at Jaywing. He brings with him the right blend of media experience and commercial flair to help us build a well-rounded, market-leading content marketing service. Coming hot on the heels of our successful acquisition of Epiphany, this marks yet another important stage in the evolution of Jaywing.”
Mike Hepburn added: “I’m delighted to be joining Jaywing as the team can see the huge opportunities right now to create high quality, bespoke media for brands. Jaywing really appealed to me because it already has all of the components in place to build relevant content and drive it to the right audience for the client. With such strong analytical capabilities, Jaywing presents a unique opportunity to develop an acute understanding of what content is working for clients.”view more - Hires, Wins & Business
