Jax Ostle-Evans Named MD of Stink Studios London
Stink Studios announced today that Executive Producer, Jax Ostle-Evans will be taking over the running of the creative studio as Managing Director of London. This new position has been formed following the promotion of James Britton to Global Managing Director in June 2017.

Ostle-Evans has been at the forefront of development within the business since her arrival at Stink Studios in November 2012. Over the last four years, she has helped lead digital and content innovation, advancing the company’s offer to ambitious modern brands in technology, fashion and entertainment.

In her new role, Ostle-Evans will focus on retaining the studio’s reputation as one of the world’s top 50 companies that creatives would ‘kill to work at’, continuing to strengthen and diversify the company’s creative output and will expand the brands that Stink Studios works with. Reporting to Stink Global Managing Director, James Britton, she will work closely with the current leadership across Stink Studios’ seven global offices.

Ostle-Evans's hybrid experience in commercial film, digital and content production makes her uniquely placed to fulfil this role. Before joining Stink Studios in 2012, she set up Superglue, the internal production company at Glue London (now Isobar), where, as Executive Producer she worked on ground-breaking projects such as Toyota’s ‘Get Your Energy Back’ and MINI, where she worked on the first interactive film to ever be created in the industry. Her career began in 2002 as a commercial film producer at Arden Sutherland-Dodd. In the 16 years since then, she has worked tirelessly to ensure she’s at the forefront of development within the industry, creating beautifully crafted and immersive digital work – be it integrated, mobile, virtual reality or traditional above the line commercial.

Since being with Stink Studios, Ostle-Evans has spearheaded innovative projects for clients such as Sky, Google, and the recent Cannes Lions winning ‘Your Next Great Idea’ campaign for Pinterest. Encompassing DOOH, editorial, interactive mobile, branded video and powered by proprietary personalisation technology, RITA; this campaign is a great example of the kind of work that she and Stink Studios strive to create for the progressive brands that they work with.

Ostle-Evans has a won a number of awards including 21 Gold’s and 15 Silver’s at Cannes Lions, One Show and D&AD. In 2015 she was invited to join the Film Craft jury at Cannes Lions, and has also judged at Eurobest, Dubai Lynx, The British Arrows Craft Awards, and the Cyber jury for Cannes Young Lions.

Jax Ostle-Evans said: “Stink Studios brings creative, production, design and technology together to create not only incredible work, but an innovative and dynamic working environment. Focusing on the team is a big part of my vision. The people and personalities are what make the work; if they feel valued and are working with the most forward-thinking brands, everything else will follow. I am particularly excited to lead the team during a time when the industry is going through significant change. During these times it's crucial to capitalise on new ways of thinking and doing, while ensuring a better and more efficient outcome for the business and for our clients.”

James Britton added: “Jax and I have worked closely together for a long time, it's really exciting to see her move into this new role. She's a natural figurehead in the company and has been integral to how we've grown our services and client relationships. Jax has always been particularly focused on our company culture and the wellbeing of the team. Everyone in London is excited to have her as the UK Managing Director.”
