Droga5 and Fat Lemon join forces to get kids into the kitchen

Fat Lemon and Droga5 have joined forces to make a charity film for The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation promoting Food Revolution Day on 16 May. Food Revolution Day is the global initiative to get kids into the kitchen, and celebrate fresh food all over the world.

In the film, Jamie is in his kitchen at home, addressing the camera, raising awareness about the campaign, but there is something not quite right about the camerawork, or in fact about the crew in general. They are his own kids: Buddy, Petal, Poppy and Daisy, and it becomes obvious who is calling the shots!

Food Revolution Day is about celebrating the importance of cooking good food from scratch and raising awareness of how it impacts our health and happiness – it starts with getting kids food smart, making cooking fun and inspiring a love of food that will last a lifetime. To date, 74 countries have taken part and over 900 ambassadors are championing our cause worldwide.

The film was shot by Fat Lemon’s Santiago and written by Droga5 London, and it will run online as well as TV internationally. It’s a lovely insight into Jamie’s family life, and we hope it will drive people to the website, and ultimately to their kitchens to get cooking.
