In November 2019, Clos19 and Jamie Cullum reached out to people on socials asking them to submit a short nomination for a loved one or close friend, asking them to explain why that person deserved a personalised song written for them. There was an overwhelming response from the public from which Jamie selected 19 of the most touching and witty messages and put them to music live for the ultimate personalised gift.
The songs are charming and disarming in equal measure, with Jamie’s world-famous talent, humour and human touch providing the perfect accompaniment to the public’s love letters, tributes and witty ‘thankyou’s’. Highlights included heartfelt messages from mothers to their children, funny stories about saxophonists emerging from cakes, and even a tale of a mystery crush set in a sauna.
The campaign was made with Uncommon Creative Studio and shot by Stella Scott through Pulse Films. The work will run online and across Clos19’s social channels in the UK and Germany in the run up to Christmas.
