Isobar has launched ‘The Karaoke Prank’ – an online video to raise awareness of Pringles latest on pack promotion that will run throughout summer.
The video captures a sunny Ibiza setting where Pringles invites groups of friends to join the Karaoke booth and sing along to a karaoke version of ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams. Unbeknown to them the booth doors open up to a huge crowd in front holding their names on signs, making them feel like rock stars! The idea behind the video is to showcase authentic fan reactions to a spontaneous prank. The reactions are priceless and truly bring to life Pringles brand purpose of giving everyone an open invitation to play.
The campaign will be supported by online and mobile advertising via LoopMe, Teads, YouTube and Spotify as well as social activity and will run in 8 markets across Europe, including the UK.
Isobar has worked with Pringles to create a campaign that drives awareness of Pringles’ association with music. Isobar has been responsible for the idea, redemption platform and the promotional video that aims to increase the awareness of the Karaoke Kit promotion.
The promotion allows consumers to redeem codes from the exclusive Pringles Karaoke packs in exchange for their very own Pringle’s Karaoke Kit! The kit consists of a microphone and a speaker that attaches onto a Pringles tube and allows you to sing along to your favourite summer anthems.
The campaign is also supported by a social competition that encourages people to tweet #PringlesKaraoke to be in with the chance to win a V Festival VIP package for them and three friends!
Pringles will also be present at festivals across Europe with on the ground event activity handled by experiential agency 029.
