Isobar Unveils 'Wearable Award' Design For SheSays Awards

SheSays has announced the Jeweller Clarice Price Thomas will be creating the wearable prize for the inaugural SheSays Awards. Clarice will produce four precious metal necklace prizes for the award winners, four for the runners-up and 100 pin badges for the first 100 entrants to the awards.

Clarice won the brief following a competitive pitch against 3-d designers, artists and jewellers earlier this month. The awards this year have been creatively driven by SheSay’s partner Isobar, to build upon the precedent for championing female creativity by the ‘Golden Stillettos’, with a new criteria, prizes, judges and awards ceremony venue.

SheSay’s simple mission – to cultivate female talent by creating a network for women – was integral to Clarice’s creative idea. Inspired by Isobar’s ‘Idea’s without limits' vision, the circular design of the winners' awards includes three different coloured ‘V’ shape grooves to reference the fact that only 3% of creative directors are female. The design also includes a 4mm Orange Sapphire set in the centre, with the Runners up pins having the same design with a smaller stone. The designs are hand-engraved with the Isobar and SheSay’s logos and the date, for the winners to wear every day with pride. 

The awards form the first instalment in a programme of activity by Isobar and SheSays, the global creative network for women. Over the coming year, the global duo will work together on work placement opportunities for young women, open briefs, hack days and events with leading figures within the industry.
