Isobar has today announced the promotion of Chandra Barathi to General Manager of the agency's newly-launched, Manila-based production hub. Previously Technical and Operations Director at Isobar in Singapore, Chandra will relocate to the Philippines for his new role.
Isobar's hub is a new initiative that has launched in Asia Pacific with the ongoing support of Isobar's major production facility in Poland. The hub enables Isobar to streamline the tech production process, drive efficiency and quality across the web in mobile and social, with the benefits of multilingual project management, and in close proximity to all APAC time zones.
In addition to benefiting international clients with multi-market web/mobile tech development needs, it will enhance Isobar's development efficiency and cost competitiveness for many markets. Konrad Spilva, Managing Director of Isobar in Australia, has played an advisory role in setting up the Manila hub, and will continue to support Chandra as the team grows.
"Isobar's production hub provides a competitive advantage for us, through the added ability and capacity to deliver technical production services to our clients in Australia and throughout Asia Pacific. We're excited about establishing an agency culture in Manila, which will act as a central connection to Isobar offices across the region, as well as ensuring a true global delivery capacity with the support of the Poland hub," said Konrad.
"Chandra's superb technical background and experience within the Isobar network makes him the ideal person to grow the team in Manila, implement new initiatives, and solidify the hub's operations for the Isobar network. Konrad Spilva has built a successful and innovative full-service agency in Australia, so with his guidance, Chandra will ensure the production hub is agile and efficient, but quipped to deal with the latest in innovative technology," said Jean Lin, CEO of Isobar APAC.
