In a year jam packed with sporting events,  Heritage has launched a brand new multi platform campaign for The Irish Examiner. It is currently running across VOD, social, digital, radio, OOH and DOOH. Directed by Grainne Dwyer and produced by Emily Power, both from Heritage, the campaign highlights how committed the sports writing team in the Irish Examiner are. Providing great sports writing through thick and thin, reflecting the passionate commitment of the sports fans who read their coverage. 

The Irish Examiner understands that players come and go, managers leave, but supporters are always there. The campaign highlights that the best fans are obsessed with sport, marry that with the passionate and unrivalled sports coverage from the Examiner and you have a perfect match. 

‘Our campaign shows how the Irish Examiner’s Sports offering is a living, breathing thing! Where every fan feels at home with in-depth sports coverage, podcasts and events that get their passion. Summed up in our campaign line 'Where Sport Lives'. The energy filming on the day matched the Examiners Sports coverage perfectly - focused passion!’ Andrew McNulty, copywriter.

The campaign which features ‘superfans’ plays into the comedic side of how fanatical sports fans can be. 'From a visual perspective we wanted a slightly 'heightened' sense of the surreal, capturing the blissful moment of each fan passion with rich colours, set against a series of retro - kitsch locations.'
