Iris picked up five awards at the 2019 ACE Awards, held at the Forbes on Fifth Theatre in New York. The awards haul marks the first time the creative shop has entered and won the ACE awards. Picking up the highest accolade of the evening; Best In Show for Samsung’s ‘Infinity Screening Film Festival’, the agency also accepted awards for Best Sales Enablement and Best Internal Activation for the same project, whilst their work for Collins Aerospace won best in the Print category and was also named runner up for Brand Campaign.
This is the first major award win for the agency since naming Rodrigo Butori as ECD for North America in January. Rodrigo commented: “We are on a mission to deliver great ideas, regardless of the briefing, channel, or target audience. In the case of Infinity Screening, we were challenged with coming up with a training program to educate the Verizon salesforce about the new Samsung S10. Instead of business-to-business, we looked at it as a human-to-human opportunity and created a fully immersive program in the form of a film festival that worked just as hard to surprise and delight our audience as it did to train them.”
The ACE awards are one of the long-standing hallmarks of ANA Business Marketing NYC, who recognise only the best of B2B creative from across the globe. Each year entries are judged by an outstanding jury of leading creatives from agencies and client organisations worldwide.
Founded in 1999, Iris is a global multi-specialist creative network that exists ‘For the forward’. The agency’s philosophy hinges on the adventurous spirit of its people and work, something that both winning campaigns embody perfectly.
