IPA Postpones Events & Courses Due to Covid-19

The IPA has postponed its courses and events programme for the next four weeks as a precautionary measure amid the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. The decision has been taken today to minimise the risk of infection for members, staff and guests. IPA courses and events are due to resume from Monday 13 April, however this will be reassessed pending any further changes in the advice issued by Public Health England.

The IPA is also testing its business continuity plan with all members of staff being asked to work from home on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 March.  

Says Paul Bainsfair, Director General, IPA: “Our priority is to safeguard the health and safety of our staff and members, and we believe that postponing all member facing activities for the next four weeks is in everyone’s best interests. In the meantime, our business continuity plan will ensure that IPA members find it is business as usual when they contact us for our advisory services or any of our online training. We will continue to monitor all guidance from the Government and update members in due course on any further changes to IPA activities.”
