Now in its third year, Internet Week Europe announces the 2012 preliminary calendar of events, a week-long celebration of Europe’s best and brightest in digital.
Europe’s flourishing digital community is readying itself to gather in London and connect in person at the third annual Internet Week Europe. This burgeoning, entirely crowd-sourced festival is taking place at various venues across the city on the 12th-16th November, spanning from the broad East London ‘Tech City’ Silicon Roundabout and Shoreditch, through to the headquarters of powerhouses including YouTube, Google and cultural institutions such as The V&A.
Internet Week Europe draws leaders from across the continent’s thriving digital landscape, with tech-trailblazers and trendsetters organising events in the capital to engage with industry peers and punters alike, representing the full spectrum of the industry like no other festival can.
Offering incomparable networking and learning opportunities both for folk in or out of the digital industries, the festival proposes a truly varied calendar. Topics will vary from culture and creativity, through politics and social media to networking, privacy, games, mobile and entrepreneurialism.
