After weeks of deliberation, the inaugural International Music+Sound Awards’ announces the official list of finalists.
The Music+Sound Awards is the first global awards programme to focus on music and sound design in the media, and is yet another ground breaking event from the team who created the UK Music+Sound Awards, which launched in 2010.
More than seventy-five leading industry figures including Tim Mellors (Chief Creative Head @ Grey Group Worldwide), Karl Westman (Executive Music Producer @ Ogilvy, Dave Pettigrew (SVP, Head of Advertising and Games @ Warner Chappell, New York) and Felix Glauner (Chief Creative Officer @ Havas Worldwide, Düsseldorf volunteered hours of critical thinking and examination to select the international finalists in the twenty-six categories. There were hundreds of outstanding entries from all over the world, and selecting the finalists was never going to be easy.
“The International Music+Sound Awards were made possible because of the dedication of the judges who watch, listen and carefully consider submitted pieces of work before selecting our finalists,” said International Music+Sound Awards co-founder, Dan Neale. “Because of their efforts this day is a global celebration of the industries’ finest in music and sound design over the last twelve months.
