Leading global insurer RSA has unveiled a new Marketing Centre of Excellence to support both its businesses in the UK and overseas markets. The new centre, which will be headed up by Pete Markey, Chief Marketing Officer, has been designed to develop and share best practice marketing across the Group.

The new structure will include a dedicated Personal Marketing team run by MORE TH>N’s new Director of Marketing, Dominic Grounsell, formerly of Capital One. His role includes the MORE TH>N brand, marketing communications and Affinity marketing. Pete Markey will oversee the Commercial Marketing team, alongside his role as Chief Marketing Officer.

Additional functions in the new Centre of Excellence model include Customer Analytics and Proposition Development. The new team will also include a Global Marketing Capability team who will support RSA's growth aspirations in over 35 countries with marketing projects and campaign initiatives.

Pete Markey, Chief Marketing Officer, said: “By having the right people in place we are confident that we can deliver award-winning marketing that will help us grow our business across the globe. We want to work smarter and by integrating our businesses worldwide, we can offer solutions across different platforms that will provide a seamless service to our customers.”
