We caught up with Lauren Prospect in our latest employee spotlight. A true team player, Lauren shares more about her career path and what inspires her every day

In Conversation with dentsuMB’s Lauren Prospect

Meet DENTSU CREATIVE US's account executive Lauren Prospect. During her 4+ years with dentsu, Lauren has worked cross agency for some of the biggest brands in the world. We sat down with Lauren to hear about her favourite projects, her career path and the most interesting job she’s ever had.

Q> How would you explain your job to a small child?

Lauren> I get things done.

Q> Tell us about your favourite project you’ve worked on and why?

Lauren> I love a project that requires all hands-on deck and collaboration with the other departments. Working late isn't so bad when you're doing it with a team.

Q> Tell us about your career path. Where did you start vs where you are now?

Lauren> I started out knowing that I wanted to work in a fast-paced environment and be surrounded by smart and hard-working people, but I had no clue that I would find all that I wanted in an account role at an advertising agency. Fast forward 4+ years, and I've been with the company through a few name changes and a pandemic. Along the way, I had the opportunity to work alongside some of the smartest minds in advertising on creative for some of the biggest brands in the world and through the years have touched at least 9 different brands across the agency.

Q> What advice would you give to your younger self?

Lauren> Don't worry about what other people are doing. Focus on what excites you each day.

Q> What is something that inspires you? Example: music, art, ad, trend, a person, etc.

Lauren> The smart and hard-working people I work with each day.

Q> What was the most interesting job you’ve ever had?

Lauren> For winter breaks in college, I worked as a Santa's helper in the local mall.

Q> What is something on your bucket list?

Lauren> Travel to all 50 states and all seven continents - though I might be ok if I never make it to Antarctica.

Q> Share with us one thing that makes you happy?

Lauren> Dogs!
