What do LBB’s High Five channel and the Immortal Awards have in common? Sage wisdom and spectacular insight from some of the world’s best creative talent, of course! And to celebrate this year’s call for entries, the two are coming together by rooting through the archives and minds of the Immortal Awards’ incredible global jury to reminisce on the world’s greatest ads.
Introducing the Immortal High Five.
Our jurors have been invited to share their five favourite ever ads from their respective regions. Subverting the ‘recently released’ time restraints of LBB’s usual High Fives, we’ve allowed them to look back in time as far as their minds can wander to pick out the campaigns that they deem Immortal.
Kicking off the series is five days of dedicated Immortal insights from the likes of BBH founder, Sir John Hegarty, R/GA global CCO, Tiffany Rolfe, global president of MullenLowe Group Creative Council, Jose Miguel Sokoloff, FP7 McCann MENAT president - SLC and regional head of strategy & Truth Central, Tahaab Rais and co-founder and executive producer at Alt.vfx, Takeshi Takada.
Following the launch week, we’ll continue to feature members of the jury in a weekly Friday High Five slot until the Immortal Awards entry deadline on Friday 10th September.
“I’m so looking forward to connecting with our jurors this year, seeing their choices and picking their brains as to why they consider their selected ads Immortal,” commented Hannah Baines, head of High Five at LBB. “High Five is a really exciting opportunity to see the crème de la crème of global ads, and I’m so pleased to be partnering with the Immortal Awards and its jury for this inspiring new series, especially considering 2020’s rollercoaster of a year for the industry.”
“This super exciting twist on High Five dips into the encyclopedic knowledge of our wonderful jurors, showcasing some of the greatest advertising ever made. We can’t wait to reveal their selections over the course of the series and shine a spotlight on some work that the rest of the world may never have seen before,” added Paul Monan, awards director.
