Footballer Dru Yearwood talks about his early years at Arsenal’s academy and his move to Nashville FC from New York Red Bulls

ICONIC, the premium consultancy founded by James Kirkham and Ellie Farrer that “gives brands a queue jump to the front of popular culture” is launching the second edition of its print magazine, ICONIC Mag. The title, which celebrates and elevates cultural figures and personalities, will be available online at iconic77.com from February 15th.

The first edition of the magazine was a smashing success, and the Soho launch party was attended by the likes of James Brown (founder of Loaded), James Haskill (England Rugby legend), Rebecca Smith (former captain of the New Zealand Women's football team), Future Cut (the production duo behind Lily Allen's debut), and Radio 1's Sarah Story.

The second issue features figures including cover star DJ, singer and writer Camden Cox. She discusses breaking into the mainstream at Radio 1’s Ibiza Weekend; hiding in the toilets to recharge her social batteries; and her own ICONIC moment when she got to work with her heroes - and earned a Grammy nomination in the process.

Footballer Dru Yearwood talks about his early years at Arsenal’s academy and his move to Nashville FC from New York Red Bulls; playing against Lionel Messi; his love of fashion; and the ICONIC moment when he signed his first professional contract.

Founders of sneaker brand notwoways reveal why their premium product has an accessible price tag; describe the joys of watching a sneaker drop sell out; collaborating across industries – and why they see paid advertising as a lazy option that feels wrong to them.

ICONIC magazine’s second edition also features London’s Top 10 sandwiches, a photo story on the Women’s World Cup by Goal Click, and interviews with individuals including DJ Ell Murphy, boxer April Hunter, artist Keeya Keys, TikToker Moses Duckrell and brands Do Not Subverge and Step By Steppers.

ICONIC founder, James Kirkham, said, “This magazine feels special. People want to feel more. They want to experience a tangible physical product, and be close to the people who matter right now in UK Culture. To have such an array of talent exclusively shot and interviewed in ICONIC MAG 2 is a pleasure.”

A cultural futurist, James Kirkham is the former chief business officer of Defected Records and football media business COPA90; as well as the former Global Head of Social for Leo Burnett and founder of digital agency, holler.

The publication showcases the full creative force of the ICONIC network:
