Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui's 'McQueen' Nominated for Two BAFTAs

The documentary feature 'McQueen', directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui has been nominated for two BAFTAs including Outstanding British Film at this weekend’s awards.

Time Based Arts acted as associate producers on the film delivering the title sequences and working with the directors to create fifteen minutes of visual content to help to tell the story of Lee Alexander McQueen’s incredible life.

Says Ian Bonhôte: "We approached Time Based Arts to talk about the title sequence but from our first brainstorm it became clear that we would collaborate to create some amazing visuals to fit the emotional thread of our film. Not only have they delivered the goods but they went way beyond that including helping to make the iconic poster a reality. I love them to bits and they made the films 100 x times better with their creative expertise and craft."

In addition Time Based Arts has recently graded and supplied VFX shots for Tom Harper’s new film Wild Rose, starring Jessie Buckley and distributed by Neon.

In a busy year ahead the independent VFX company will be working on six features and TV dramas, including the fifth instalment of Peaky Blinders.
