i Newspaper Pokes Fun at Party Leader Downfalls in Amusing UK Election Prints
Jeremy Corbyn in makeup and Theresa May donning a fur stole? It’s all here…
The i newspaper is highlighting its coverage in the lead up to the UK General Election on 8th June with a provocative new campaign by Atomic London depicting the main party leaders in various guises.
Each execution picks out a subject that each have become synonymous with during their campaigns so far.
It features Theresa May in a fox fur stole, Jeremy Corbyn in full ‘70s Kiss make-up, Tim Farron in a full gay leather bikers outfit and Nicola Sturgeon is depicted as the Lone Ranger.
The campaign of portraits breaks this Friday and will be used across various media over the next two weeks, beginning with a targeted social media campaign to reach UK media planners and buyers. Strategic poster and national press executions will follow and they will feature prominently at the very first Politics Festival, in London 23rd -25th June, which is sponsored by the i.
The i newspaper was named Newspaper of the Year 2016 and now has double the
sales of The Guardian. view more - Creative
