Huge, the global experience agency, today announced Lisa De Bonis has joined the agency as global chief experience officer, effective immediately. In this new role, Lisa will report directly into Mat Baxter, global chief executive officer at Huge, where she will have overall responsibility for delivering unified brand experiences for the agency’s clients.

Mat said: “Lisa has a unique blend of strategy, creative and transformation expertise which positions her perfectly for this new role of chief experience officer. Lisa also has an outstanding pedigree, working for some of the best agencies in the world. We’re thrilled to have her on our team and to be an integral part of the exciting next chapter for Huge”

Most recently, Lisa served as managing director at Accenture Interactive. Operating in multiple leadership roles across the UK and Europe, she drove double digit growth across the comms and technology clients, enabled the integration of key acquisitions and launched a new capability focused on scaling engagements with experience and purpose at their core.

Lisa commented: “There’s something extremely special about Huge. The brand, the culture and the work all have a magnetic quality to them that I’ve been admiring for some time. I’m delighted our stars have aligned and I get the chance to work with such unique talent and brands to help them make an even greater impact in the world.”

Lisa brings over 20 years of driving growth in the creative, digital marketing and consulting industries in the UK and Europe across a wide range of global brands. She started her career in Paris at Omnicom’s BDDP&Fils, managing international clients such as The Michelin Group, Pernod Ricard and Prudential's Egg Credit Cards. After Paris, Lisa worked at Mother in London, strategising and delivering famous campaigns for Orange, Coca-Cola, and SAB Miller to name but a few.

In 2007, with the rise and increasing impact of technology and social, Lisa left Mother to co-found Work Club - one of the most successful independent digital creative agencies of its time. After eight years, Work Club was acquired by Havas. At Havas, as executive digital director on the UK Exec, and in her Global Innovation & Strategy client roles for RB & GSK, Lisa focused on driving growth by retaining, integrating and growing the digital creative talent and culture that she'd created with Work Club throughout the rest of Havas.

Lisa’s impact has been recognised by the world’s best industry awards shows. She has judged at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, D&AD, and The Drum Awards, as well as contributed to global thought leadership on the topic of Experience and I&D initiatives for some of the world’s top tech brands.

Lisa’s new role at Huge is on the heels of Mat Baxter’s appointment to global chief executive officer in July and Toni Lowe as GVP of diversity equity and inclusion this month, as well as the agency’s completion of Huge XD School, which returned with a renewed equity-centred education purpose to increase the participation of underrepresented identities in the industry from our Oakland office.
