Hoxton Street Monster Supplies has a brand new look with their newly launched website: the first ever to cater for werewolves, vampire bats and zombies alike with an array of ghoulish gifts, translatable for humans and monsters alike.
Led by Alistair Hall, Co-Founder and Art Director, the website has been given a brand new look and feel, along with mobile optimisation. Each of the designers in the team donated their contributions to support this brilliant charity, including James North (Copywriter), Jamie Ingram (Developer) and Creative Directors, Gavin and Jason Fox
Alistair Hall, Co-Founder and Art Director of Hoxton Street Monster Supplies and Ministry of Stories, commented: The brief for the website was to create something a little bit more sophisticated than our previous site, which didn’t work brilliantly on mobile devices, with the hope of increasing sales. We wanted it to look smart and contemporary, and to retain both the sense of elegance and mischief of the shop. We wanted customers to smile and to buy things; and to understand that the shop helps to fund the Ministry.
Alistair Hall also commented: My main role as art director on the site was to be a real pain in the butt when it came to the finer details of typography, which is one of the key parts of our identity. The team did an incredible job on the new site, and we’re really proud of it. Our products also look fantastic thanks to the brilliant new photographs by Darryl Stoodley.
