Very recently, Cage Point ranked 44 on the list of Inc. 5,000, a prestigious recognition that is awarded to America’s fastest-growing privately-held businesses. I am very proud of our agency and team to have reached this achievement as a result of the company’s impressive growth rate of 6467.83%.
The Inc. 5000 list rankings are based on the percentage of revenue growth rate. The award is known as a measurement of entrepreneurial success across America, and we value the significance of this acknowledgment as an independent, small business. In reflecting on that, I wanted to share with other small business how this dream became our reality in hopes that it will help other business owners.
I have been in this business for over 20 years; starting up other agencies, selling them, to founding Cage Point in 2016. The Inc. 5,000 award demonstrates that hard work really does pay off. The formula for growth is quite simple:

2) Work hard and know your craft, in and out.
3) If you don’t fail sometimes, then you are not trying to innovate. And you must continuously innovate – especially in today’s climate.

However, what I have learned is that business results are only one aspect of the game. For longevity – you need to build a culture and not be afraid to fail. We are a complete extension of their marketing and sales departments. We build custom teams to meet our client’s goals and needs.
So, we truly understand how to operate and address the business objectives. We try to extend our culture to our clients and onto their customers. We are a tight knit family. Every team member knows each other by name. You hear about authenticity and being real – we practice this every day, so we become an extension of our clients marketing teams. This is not a 9-5 job; we are always on call.
