How BBDO NY Brought Lowe's 'Fix in Six' Vines to the Real World

To stop people on the street and get them to take notice that a Lowe’s is opening in their area, the brand has created an interactive experience that brings digital to the analog world.  The installation is called Live Vine and it essentially brings to life the brand’s award-winning “Fix in Six” Vine campaign via a live window display in its Chelsea store.

The windows were developed by BBDO New York in partnership with Spaeth Design (creators of many of the famous NYC Christmas window displays as seen at Saks, Tiffany’s, and Macy’s) and provide tips that are specific to New York living, showing people how to make the most of a small space.  For example, one demonstrates how painting a room in lighter colors makes it look bigger; another demonstrates how to hand a bicycle from a ceiling. Due to the Spaeth’s immense effort and attention to detail that went into the production of the window instillations, a “behind the scenes” video was created to give exclusive insight to creation of Live Vine.
